Brightlingsea Music Festival : 10th Anniversary appearance
It was back in 2003 that Adrian first played at the Brightlingsea Festival on what was then the Acoustic Stage. Such was the response to his performance that year that in 2004 the organisers decided to take a chance and for the first time put a solo artist on the mainstage. And due to popular demand the next four years saw Adrian return regularly to fill that space on the mainstage.
Since that time Adrian has go on to perform all over the UK at events such as both Cambridge Folk and Cambridge Rock Festivals as well as in prestigious venues such as the Sage in Gateshead and has received regular nationwide airplay of his two albums to date. Now with bookings coming in regularly further afield in Europe the future is looking good for the Brightlingsea favourite.
So it is fitting on this the 10th anniversary of the Brighhtlingsea Festival that Adrian will be back to make his 7th appearance!
Live and Unsigned
Adrian performed at the Regional Final of Live and Unsigned this weekend (10th April) and came out on top to go through to the next stage of the competition, the Area Final being held in Basildon, Essex on the 22nd May. This is the final step before the Grand Final at the O2 Arena in London on July 10th. Adrian's performance of Gordon Lightfoot's Sundown and his own The Heart Beats On met with rapturous applause and a standing ovation from the audience at the Ipswich Corn Exchange and was enough to ensure his place in the Area Final. Live and Unsigned
Adrian has wowed the judging panel and sailed through the audition stage of Live and Unsigned. He will now be competing against the other most  talented bands and artists in the country at
the live shows of Live and Unsigned 2010.
Adrian battled against hundreds of auditionees to secure a spot in the live shows and now has the opportunity to perform alongside the best in the region. Acts that have made it through auditions will now take part in a live head to head battle in front of thousands of spectators and a professional judging panel to progress to the Live and Unsigned Festival at the 02 in London.
Live and Unsigned is the biggest original music competition in the UK for unsigned bands and artists. Attracting over 30, 000 entries in the past three years, it has set itself apart from its predecessors by offering and promoting originality. It’s now established as the definitive music competition for original acts and it’s open to all genres of music from Heavy Rock to Rap.
Adrian will be performing at the regional final of Live and Unsigned at the Ipswich Corn Exchange in Kings Street, Ipswich on April 10th at 8.30pm. New server for website (24-02-2010)
Some of you will have no doubt noticed that this site has been static for quite sometime. This has been due to ongoing problems with the then server and has meant much information has been unable to be distributed and uploaded to this site. This has been resolved and the site is now installed on a new server.

Milkmaid Gig Postponed
Adrian's concert at the The Milkmaid Folk Club in Bury St Edmunds on December 4th has been postponed until the new year due to a run of shows taking place between December 3rd and 13th in Athens, Greece. The new date will be posted on the gigs page soon.
Stephen Fearing UK Tour
Stephen Fearing, Juno-award winning songwriter from Canada will be touring the UK again this October and Adrian will be opening two of his shows. The first will be on October 11th at The Cabbage Patch in Twickenham and then again on October 14th at Swinburne Hall in Colchester. See the gigs page for details.
Cambridge Festivals
Adrian has just been confirmed to play at two Cambridge Festivals this summer.
August 2nd will see Adrian at the CAMBRIDGE FOLK FESTIVAL
August 7th it will be the CAMBRIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL

Guitar Clinic
Adrian has been booked to demonstrate Martin guitars at the Trevor Durrant Guitar Centre in Colchester on June 6th as part of the shop's 20th anniversary celebrations. There will be opportunity to see a wide range of Martin guitars played and to talk to Adrian about tunings, techniques etc. www.tdguitars.com

Album Launch Concert

New Album: Fall or Fly Release News
 'Fall or Fly' available April 6th
The release date for Adrian's long-awaited second album 'Fall or Fly' has been set for April 6th and will be supported by articles and reviews soon appearing in the national and music press. Fall or Fly will be available in-store and online at iTunes and all the worldwide download sites.
Adrian will also be off on a national tour to promote the new album with dates already confirmed in London, Newcastle, Lewes, Portsmouth, Leicester, Harlow, Thirsk and more. New dates are being added all the time and can be found on the Gigs page. If you can't find a date near you keep checking back or if you know a venue where you would like to see Adrian play, please contact us through the Contact tab at the top of the page and we'll listen to your suggestions.
Tickets will soon be available for the launch show which will take place at The Nave in Islington, London on March 28th. The Sage, Gateshead
Adrian has been invited to be a part of a special concert taking place in May 2009 at The Sage in Gateshead. He will be appearing with Victoria Guillory and they will be performing together songs written by both the late, great Isaac Guillory and Adrian himself.

EP Released Feb 2008
"Adrian Nation : EP", released in February this year comprises 4 tracks from the forthcoming album "Fall or Fly". Songs featured are "Don't Turn Away", "Brightest Star", "The Heart Beats On" and "Set Fire to the Sky". "EP" was produced by Chris West, who manned the controls on the recent platinum-selling Richard Ashcroft album, "Keys to the World". Among the players on this recording are Gerry Conway, drummer for Fairport Convention and over the years Cat Stevens and Jethro Tull to name but a couple. Brad Lang, bass player formerly with ABC and currently in Barbara Dickson's touring band. Colin Linden, top Nashville session player on slide guitar. "EP" will not be on general release in the shops but is available exclusively at gigs and from the shop on this website. You can buy it now by clicking on the Shop page.
